Towards the opening of negotiations on the energy chapter in Ukraine in July: how to position Ukraine?
Ukraine applied for EU membership on February 28th, 2022, during the first days after the full-scale invasion by Russia. This symbolic act shows Ukraine´s strong commitment to the EU family and its democratic values. In July 2025, Ukraine will start the bilateral screening process with the European Union on its state of play on implementing Chapter 15, energy. This chapter forms part of the cluster IV, Green Agenda and Sustainable Connectivity.
This webinar will inform an international audience and present the results of a comparative study on energy acquis negotiations and a study on the legislative technique of Ukraine, and, together with experts and the audience, identify how Ukraine should position itself vis-à-vis the bilateral screening.
