Ukraine's Power System: A Berlin Policy Roundtable

On 3 November 2025 we hosted an in-depth exchange on the current state of Ukraine’s energy system and the question of how Germany can strategically engage in supporting Ukraine’s transformation.

The roundtable was meant to foster dialogue between Berlin’s policymakers who are supporting Ukraine’s European integration as well as energy transition in their daily work. Eventually, it brought together representatives from the relevant German Federal Ministries, GIZ projects, parliamentary offices, and Ukrenergo, with valuable insights also shared by the Parliamentary State Secretary Stefan Rouenhoff (BMWE).

We will continue this format to keep connecting evidence, policy, and practice.
