Nitrogen based Fertiliser Use (per area of cropland) - 1992-2021

Between 2000 and 2021, fertiliser use in Ukraine has increased fivefold, converging towards the global average. The implied natural gas input (to produce this fertiliser) grew from about 0.4 bn m³ to about 1.8 bn m³.
