Cross-border power lines between Ukraine, Moldova and neighbouring EU states

Since the start of the war, cross-border electricity connections have been critical for balancing Ukraine's electricity supply and demand. The synchronisation of Ukraine and Moldova with the continental grid three years ago was a strategic success.

As our new map shows, most connections are concentrated in two places, near L'viv and Uzhhorod.
