Georg Zachmann has been invited to join the ESYS
We are pleased to share that Georg Zachmann, GDU Scientic Lead, has been invited to join the ESYS – Energy Systems of the Future working group on "Resilience of Energy Resource Supply".
Energy Systems of the Future (ESYS) is a joint initiative of the German academies of sciences that brings together leading experts to provide independent, science-based advice on the transformation and resilience of energy systems.
The working group focuses on how energy systems can be better withstand and adapt to crises — an issue of growing relevance in light of geopolitical risks, climate impacts, and system transformation. Thereby the insights from Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin's Green Deal Ukraїna project can serve as a harsh reality check for the German debate.
