Green Deal Ukraїna has joined the Skills Alliance for Ukraine.

The Skills Alliance brings together governments, international partners, businesses, educational institutions and civil society organisations working to strengthen skills and human capital for Ukraine’s recovery and European integration.

Capacity building in energy and climate is a key part of GDU’s work. Since 2023, our programmes have supported professionals from public institutions, regulators, municipalities, academia and the energy sector, focusing on the knowledge and skills needed for Ukraine’s energy and climate transition and EU accession.

This includes ProGreenDeal, training on EU accession in the energy and climate sectors, tailored programmes for Ukrainian institutions and our self-paced online course. Through KECLab, we continue this work by connecting research, education and policymaking in energy and climate.

By joining the Skills Alliance, we look forward to sharing our experience and connecting with other organisations working on skills development in Ukraine.
