Successful REMIT Training for NEURC
GDU, in partnership with the FSR and the KSEP, conducted a REMIT training course for 30 professionals
Recently, Green Deal Ukraїna, in partnership with the Florence School of Regulation (FSR) and the Kyiv School of Energy Policy (KSEP), conducted a REMIT training course for 30 professionals from the Ukrainian National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission (NEURC) on the EU Regulation on Wholesale Energy Market Integrity and Transparency (REMIT — EU Regulation 1227/2011).
This comprehensive training course covered the following essential concepts:
- Insider Trading and Market Manipulation
- Key obligations and prohibitions for market participants
- ACER's surveillance under REMIT and its enforcement ensure market integrity
Upon completion, participants were awarded a Certificate of Participation.

The training we conducted was very timely, as new requirements under REMIT will take effect starting from 2 July 2024, specifically:
- The requirement to disclose insider information through Inside Information Platforms.
- The obligation to submit information on all concluded standard and non-standard contracts involving wholesale energy products (gas, electricity).
