On June 16, 2025, the Summer Module of the ProGreenDeal for Local Communities program officially kicked off in Vinnytsia
Building on the theory and tools introduced in the first two modules, Ukrainian municipalities are now applying their knowledge to develop concrete projects that help bring the principles of the European Green Deal to life at the local level.
Forty-five territorial communities from central Ukraine have joined this stage of the program. Participants are not only developing municipal energy plans but also setting strategic priorities and concrete actions through expert mentoring, peer learning, and hands-on workshops.
The first day already set the tone: a strong spirit of unity, collaboration, and determination filled the room. During the opening and community pitch sessions, participants openly shared the current challenges and ambitions of their hromadas, sparking meaningful exchanges and new connections.
Ahead lie four intensive days of learning and co-creation. And while the work will be demanding, one thing is already clear: a growing network of change-makers from across Ukrainian communities is forming — united by a common vision of green recovery and sustainable development.
