Ukraine has the largest reserves in Europe of three minerals and metals critical to the EU

An article on our join policy paper with Forum Energii, “Critical raw materials in the energy transition: assessing Ukraine’s potential for EU supply chains,” just appeared in Ukraine's top media outlet, NV.

Ukraine holds deposits of 25 of the EU`s critical raw materials (CRMs), and graphite and titanium stand out as prime opportunities for plugging into EU supply chains. That said, we've got plenty of groundwork ahead to emerge as a strong contender in this market.

The GDU research team — Danylo Moiseienko, Alexander Sicheneder, and Maciej Zaniewicz — dives deep into the issue, tracking the key questions Ukraine needs to answer to grab this chance.
