GDU contribution to Ukraine's Analytical Digest

This issue focuses on Ukraine's urgent energy and climate challenges, especially the expected heat and power deficits in the coming winter. It explores short- and mid-term solutions that align with Ukraine's long-term clean energy transition and EU integration goals.

Contributors from the Green Deal Ukraїna Project of Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin and our partners from GIZ, KSEP and Energy Act for Ukraine Foundation, delve into critical topics such as:

  • Strengthening Ukraine's power infrastructure
  • Enhancing cross-border electricity connections
  • Integrating climate policy during wartime

The issue also highlights the installation of hybrid solar stations at critical facilities, which advance Ukraine's energy resilience and independence amidst the ongoing conflict.
