We are glad to announce that Susanne Nies will moderate the official session "Sustainable Energy Dialogue: Investment Frameworks, Reforms and Market Transformation" during the Energy Platform of the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC) 2026, taking place on 25 June at the Polsat Plus Arena Gdańsk, Poland at 15.20
The Energy Platform is organized by the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, in cooperation with the Ministerstwo Energii (the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Poland), and serves as a dedicated forum bringing together governments, international financial institutions, private investors, energy companies, and development partners to discuss Ukraine’s energy recovery, resilience, and long-term transformation
This session will focus on the practical conditions required to accelerate private sector investment into Ukraine’s low-emission energy transition, with particular attention to renewable energy generation, BESS, market reforms and investment mobilization mechanisms. A dedicated part of the discussion will focus on the joint EBRD-World Bank Group RAMP UP initiative as a practical framework for scaling renewable energy deployment in Ukraine
Among the invited participants are senior representatives of the Ukrainian and Polish energy sectors, international financial institutions, and major energy market players. The session will also provide opportunities for interventions from the audience, ensuring a broad and interactive exchange of perspectives on Ukraine’s energy transition and investment landscape
As Ukraine continues to rebuild its energy sector under unprecedented circumstances, the discussion will examine how policy reforms, international partnerships, and innovative financing instruments can unlock investment and support the country's path toward a more sustainable, secure, and integrated energy future
We invite all participants of URC2026 to join the discussion and contribute to shaping the next phase of Ukraine’s energy transformation
