Ukraine Cross-Border Electricity Trade - Montly Net Imports (GWh)
Since the start of the Russian full-scale invasion, Ukraine relied on net imports of electricity during most months, with imports in summer and December last year particularly important in mitigating the impact of large-scale attacks on the energy system.
Throughout this summer, Ukraine has turned into a net exporter of electricity again, with net exports last month exceeding pre-war export levels for the first time since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
