Ukraine`s Gas Storage Levels (January 2026)

At the start of January 2026, gas storages in Ukraine were filled with about 7.5 billion cubic meters (excluding technical gas), marking a substantial increase compared to the same period in 2025, when there was just under 5 bcm. This indicates successful repairs to gas production facilities that were damaged last September.

If consumption and refilling trends from the previous heating season continue, around 3.6 bcm of gas would remain in storage by the end of March 2026.
