Ukraine’s power outages: sharp peak and gradual recovery

Over the last two and a half months we’ve been collecting daily power outage data across all of the non-occupied regions in Ukraine.

Over the surveyed period, outages were worst in early February, peaking at over 10 hours per day across all regions.

Ukraine managed to substantially reduce outage duration after mid February, with a last spike occurring by mid April.

Planned outages in our survey were somewhat higher than actual outages for the surveyed customers.
