Cumulative imports of energy equipment

CUkraine’s imports of energy-related equipment have risen sharply since late 2022. Imports of generators, combustion engines and batteries, often procured during the heating season, dominate the picture.

This is consistent with a focus on emergency solutions.

At the same time, more structural new generation solutions like solar PV and wind turbines are much less seasonal, but also lagging behind.
