Status of Ukrainian Nuclear Plants (by unit) - 2025

StsUkraine’s nine operational nuclear units (in three power plants) contribute more than half of Ukraine’s electricity generation. For Ukraine’s electricity system planning, the future of the six units in the currently occupied Zaporizhzhia NPP and the discussed addition of four units in Khmelnitskyi NPP, create substantial uncertainty.
