Selected Conditionality Frameworks applying to Ukraine

Ukraine is subject to a multi-layered system of partly overlapping conditionality regimes – currently, there are about 270 active conditionalities applying to Ukraine. Negotiations on the new Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) provide the European Union with a strategic window of opportunity to review its conditionality architecture for Ukraine.

For this week’s FOTW, we mapped the main conditionality frameworks applied by the EU, the IMF, the World Bank and the EBRD.
