Associate project partners are organisations that are actively involved in the project. They contribute to the strategic, administrative, and substantive work of the project, but are independent institutions.

Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin (HZB)

Is a scientific center that develops solutions for a climate-neutral society with a strong reputation for energy research and materials science expertise. HZB operates the synchrotron BESSY II, which facilitates cutting-edge studies on materials and is home to synthesis and analytical laboratories. HZB has extensive expertise in analysing, developing, and optimising renewable energy generation, storage, and conversion technologies, placing it at the forefront of the field. Beyond its pure technical expertise, HZB is known for its collaborative research approach, working closely with other research institutions, universities, and industry partners worldwide to tackle complex scientific challenges.

Forum Energii, strategic partner from Poland

Is an independent European, interdisciplinary think tank based in Warsaw, Poland. The team consists of experts in the field of energy with experience in business, public administration, science and media. Its mission is to initiate dialogue, propose knowledge-based solutions, and inspire action for a safe, just and effective energy transition leading to climate neutrality. This is achieved through analysis, opinions, and dialogue on the decarbonisation of key areas of the economy.

DiXi Group

Is a think tank founded in 2008 in Kyiv. Its purpose consists in being an engine for the quality changes in energy policy, achieving new standards and practices of decision-making in the sector – through the promotion of policy analysis products, strengthening the role of expert communities and civil society, creating open platforms for interaction and professional discussions, dissemination of best practices, knowledge and skills for successful reform.

Eco Action

Is the Ukrainian Center for Environmental Initiatives: a civil society organisation that united experts and society to protect the environment and advocate for energy efficiency, climate change mitigation, and sustainable development of transport and agriculture. Eco Action is listened to in Ukraine and is well represented in its regions and cities, well connected with Ukrainian universities and energy experts.
